Meet Blanca - Founder of NomadLingua
Hello! I’m Blanca - Spanish teacher, eternal language learner, and the soul behind NomadLingua.
Born and raised in Madrid, now living in Portugal, and constantly wandering — both geographically and linguistically.
I am an educator by profession, and a language learner by instinct. I studied Languages and International Relations, trained in Linguistics, Education and earned a Master’s Degree in Teaching Spanish. My journey has taken me through Spain, Portugal, Serbia and the UK - and into the worlds of English, French, Portuguese, Italian… even Serbian, Chinese, Hawaiian, Arabic, and Latin.
Why? Because I believe language isn’t just grammar or vocabulary, it’s not just a tool — it’s real magic. It’s the soul of a culture, it’s compass, the key to new ways of seeing the world, and a way to turn the unknown into home.
That’s why I created NomadLingua - For the wanderers, the restless, the curious, and the lifelong learners. For those who learn just for the joy of it, those who can’t sit still in one place, one tongue, or one worldview.
If you’ve ever smiled at a clever etymology, cried over a subjunctive, lost sleep over “ser” and “estar”, or whispered “this word is beautiful” to yourself... you've found your tribe.

What Sets Me Apart
👣 I’ve walked the same road
I’ve spent most of my life on the other side of the table — learning languages. That’s why I teach with empathy: I know how it feels when motivation fades, when a grammar rule makes no sense, or when a word just won’t stick. But also, how beautiful it is to suddenly get it.
Learning is a journey, and like any other, we should truly enjoy the path itself.

Language learning is just like going to Mordor — there’s no single path, no one-size-fits-all method to master a language. No easy shortcuts.
We all learn differently, and your journey deserves a map of its own. My job is to help you find that map, creating materials just for you, adapting to your pace, goals and learning style.
Because this is your quest. I’m just your guide along the way.
